Beautiful Character

If there is beauty in character,

Reflection:  This quote states that beauty that is shown in character will bring many positive actions to your home and nation. For example, the first and second line above; “If there is beauty in character, there will be harmony in the home”. That states that beautiful character can bring joy and harmony to your home. Beautiful character brings trust, harmony ,order and peace to our homes and nation. We should all live by this quote because it will bring out our true beautiful character. If you are a CTR person and choose/ do right decisions you are expressing your beautiful character which brings harmony, peace and more to your home. If everyone in this world expressed their good character we won't have such a violent nation. Our nation would be full of joy and peace. Right now there is so much violence and hatred out in the world that is caused of bad character. Choose the right and show the beauty of your good character.

Challenges Teens Face today

1.)What are several of the major challenges teens deal with today?

Drugs, study pressure, pressure in a relationship, drinking and smoking, bullying,etc.

2.) What are one or two major challenges YOU are dealing with today? What are you doing about them?

The major challenges I’m dealing with is study pressure and pressure in sports. I'm not frustrating and not worrying a lot on my study pressure i am more calm now.

3.) How does being a CTR person help you to overcome any challenges you may face?

Being a CTR person helps me overcome any challenges i may face because i am always doing what is right so it will help me face my challenges.  

4.) How can you help other teens to overcome their challenge? I can help other teens overcome their challenges by supporting them and help them face it together.

6.) Reflection: the greatest need that teens have is facing bullying and drugs. Those two subjects are huge problems. Bullying because it can lead to cutting, suicide and maybe even depression. Drugs can lead to lack of sleep , slacking off in school work , and facing many health issues.

Malik Stewart and Roman Chapa

              

  

  Malik Stewart is a CTR person who does the right thing. Roman Chapa in the other hand is a CTW person who is dishonorable and does not do the right thing. I learned a lesson from these two men. I learned that you might not always win but you should always show true positive character. I learned this from a wise man named Malik Stewart when he decided to go show humbleness to his opponent and opponent’ s father. I also learned another lesson which was that i should never cheat knowing i would win if i do. For example, like the dishonorable man Roman Chapa. As you can see in the picture above he is choosing the wrong and tazing his horse in order for him to go fast and pass the finish line. You should follow in the path of Malik Stewart and choose the right.

Reflection: This quote states that it is at most best to fail with honor than to succeed with cheating. Showing that you have failed with honor shows your true character. Expressing that you win by cheating shows that you don’t choose the right. You get more respect and are more reliable when you do things with honor. You lose trust, bonds, and loved ones by cheating and being a ctw person. Your future is instinct on your actions you're doing now. If you choose the right and think before you do something you will have a bright future. In the other hand if you decide to screw up by doing arrogant things your future won’t be so bright. Do what is right and follow Sophocles statement. That is to prefer failing at something but with honor , than to win by cheating.

A Current Health Related Event

On Tuesday,May 31,2016 they discovered a new story. Women who suffer from migraine headaches may have a slightly increased risk of heart disease or stroke.migraines are like headaches. Women are involved in this health issue. Studies are being done and research as well to see what they find. This issue is very bad. This issue relates to me because if there is no cure or treatment later on when i become a women and have minor headaches (migraines) i could have the risk of a heart disease or stroke. This current health issue should be stopped because many older women tend to have migraines and can develop these diseases.

Memorial Day 

1.) Memorial day is a day which those have died in active military service are remembered.

2.) Memorial day lands on the last Monday of May. This year is Monday the 30th. 

3.) you can show honor and respect by visiting a local veteran's cemetery/war memorial, go to a memorial day parade, fly the flag,etc.

5.) Memorial day is originally called Decoration Day.memorial day was changed by a president. Memory day is to remember and honor all those brave veterans or any military force who fought for our nation. many people visit memorials and cemeteries, particularly to honor those who died in military service.  

6.) I might appreciate the fact we are free because of them. 

7.)Memorial day to me is a sad but festive day. Sad because i feel that those who died lost there life. Those of military force fight to protect their loved ones and those of there nations without even knowing them. i known someone who died and was in the military force but did not die while in the military. he was a close family friend and like an uncle. His name was Ricky Galvez. Many who died while still on the service are so brave. as the photo above says "Home of the Brave because of the free". So are thanks go all to those in the service because that's why we are alive doing what we are doing now.

8. Telling the truth helps you feel secure and peaceful inside.

Reflection: The truth is a very important thing.Something you should keep something you should not lie about. Telling the truth can lead you to less trouble and to more trust on yourself. Disobeying the truth can lead to lies after lies. It can also lead to loneliness, hatred,dishonest, a ruined reputation,etc. Many benefits come from telling the truth. as explained in the list of 8. Above that there are many ways why you should always stick and say the truth. Always remember that by lying you get nothing in return by telling the truth you get peacefulness and more inside.
