Memorial Day 

1.) Memorial day is a day which those have died in active military service are remembered.

2.) Memorial day lands on the last Monday of May. This year is Monday the 30th. 

3.) you can show honor and respect by visiting a local veteran's cemetery/war memorial, go to a memorial day parade, fly the flag,etc.

5.) Memorial day is originally called Decoration Day.memorial day was changed by a president. Memory day is to remember and honor all those brave veterans or any military force who fought for our nation. many people visit memorials and cemeteries, particularly to honor those who died in military service.  

6.) I might appreciate the fact we are free because of them. 

7.)Memorial day to me is a sad but festive day. Sad because i feel that those who died lost there life. Those of military force fight to protect their loved ones and those of there nations without even knowing them. i known someone who died and was in the military force but did not die while in the military. he was a close family friend and like an uncle. His name was Ricky Galvez. Many who died while still on the service are so brave. as the photo above says "Home of the Brave because of the free". So are thanks go all to those in the service because that's why we are alive doing what we are doing now.

Reflection: The truth is a very important thing.Something you should keep something you should not lie about. Telling the truth can lead you to less trouble and to more trust on yourself. Disobeying the truth can lead to lies after lies. It can also lead to loneliness, hatred,dishonest, a ruined reputation,etc. Many benefits come from telling the truth. as explained in the list of 8. Above that there are many ways why you should always stick and say the truth. Always remember that by lying you get nothing in return by telling the truth you get peacefulness and more inside.

Yoga therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Yoga relaxes and balances the mind and body through exercise. yoga therapist use yoga to help people with physical and emotional issues or specific health problems.

I would not like to be one because this job/career does not fascinate me and it is not what i am looking  for in a job. This is an amazing job but it is not for me.

Reflection: This quote means that the best thing you can have is good values. Good values are shown through your actions. Some good values are choosing the right, telling the truth, being honest, being respectful, caring, and etc. That's why it is best to be a person who chooses the right all the time. For example, if someone is a CTR person good values will be shown through their actions like doing what is right, helping other, etc. If someone is a CTW person they are expressing bad values through their actions like cheating, stealing, cursing, etc. That is why it is to have good values and do what is right.

I think i might like to be one because i love helping animals. But the reason why i didn't say yes i would like to be one is because i don't like cats and im allergic to them and this involves helping them. Other than that i might want to be one.

Reflection: If you do what is right you will get in return joy and integrity. You will receive many more. If you decide to choose the wrong then you might get in return shame, guilt, etc. Mostly all the reward you get by doing what is right is going to be what you feel within which will be an internal phenomenon. For example, if I see that  an elderly lady dropped something valuable I would pick it up and with no thought about it I will give it to her. I would choose the right. I will feel inside happy, proud of myself, I would be full of self worth and etc. that's why if you choose the right and be a ctr person you will have joy in life. If you are a person who chooses the wrong then you will get wrong bad things in return like guilt.

Duties and Responsibilities: Work with athletes and physicians to develop rehabilitation sciences.

He is teaching us that we need to do what we want and like in the future. Not what we think will pay the most. If we serve others it will come back to us in a good way. If we follow our passions we will succeed. It is best to do what you love then to do something that does not fascinate you for the rest of your lives. Phillip Riggs is an example of commitment and humbleness. He serves others and teaches students to do so too. i f we work hard now in high school we will have a good future. If we slack off now we will worry a lot later in the future.  Phillip riggs worked hard, doesn’t chase after money, does good things to people and does what he loves as a career. He is where he is now because he worked hard in school.

6.) I'm fascinated by this world record because that is a long path to ride a bike. As you read above he took 117 days riding in a bicycle. That isn't easy. He could have gave up but he decided to keep going.

Reflection: This quote states that every time you are chosen to make a decision you need to think of which choice will be the right decision then decide. It is best if you choose the right and make the right decision. Making the right decision can lead you to success and or achievement. While on the other hand if by any chance you decide to be a ctw person and choose the decision you know is wrong/bad. You will have failure and won’t be happy. Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? I would maybe like to be one because it is a fun, interesting career to have. It also offers good pay but if I were to become an actor I would want to be the ones that go on television.

Reflection: This quote states that nothing is obtained when you decide to do what's wrong. For example, if I bully someone and I expect something good in return I won’t receive anything but the feeling of guilt. To obtain or gain something you need to choose the right. Nothing is and will ever be gained by doing what is wrong. It is super easy to choose the wrong but we shouldn’t do so. We need to think before our actions. Think about if what we are about to do going to help someone or hurt them. It is best if we take positive action and be a ctr person. Remember that doing what is wrong leads you to repercussions. Doing what is right can lead you to happiness and joy. Nothing is ever gained by doing what is wrong.

 Starbucks

                               

Starbucks first started in 1971. Which was opened in Seattle,Washington. The original founders were two teachers and a writer. The store initially just sold coffee beans and coffee making equipment rather than the drinks now that have become so famous. The company's logo was initially a wood-cut style image of a 2 tailed mermaid or siren but it has changed overtime. I personally love Starbucks. I was introduced to starbucks by my cousin. I was having doubts on trying their drinks because I hardly liked and drinked coffee. She made me try one of their drinks so I did. I tried the strawberry one and i loved it. I loved Starbucks ever since that day. I don't know why but when I drink something from Starbucks I feel relaxed. Starbucks is my desire! My opinion on the company Starbucks is that they should have more special holiday offers and new drinks. I love Starbucks and always will !!!

Reflection: This quote states that everyday there will be a great moment that great moment will happen when someone shows character and does the right thing. For example, if I see someone struggling to do something and it looks like they need someone to help them i will show that i have a positive character and i will do the right thing and help. That would be a great special moment. If you are a ctr person than you for sure have a positive character which you should express everyday so you can make great moments. Do the right thing at the right time. You will see later on that day or right there and then that it will be a great moment. If you choose the right you can experience these good memories.
