LAUSD

           The Los Angeles Unified School District provides a team of professionals that go collaborate with schools, families, Educational Service Centers and communities to give the quality of health, mental help and other human services. Their mission is to make sure every LAUSD site receives the support and guidance to maintain a safe environment to learn.  The LAUSD districts not only provides us with a place to learn (school) they also help some of us get to and from there  through safe, dependable transportation (school bus). LAUSD  provides many student services to us students and to our community. The LAUSD can also help you maintain a good education. They do there best to keep all LAUSD school districts safe.

This quote means that if you want to reach the goal of true education you need more than intelligence you also need to have good character. With the same amount of intelligence and character you get to achieve the goal of true education. an example of using both for a good education is a bicycle. A bicycle has two wheels; one of them is intelligence and the other one is character. Both wheels need to have the same amount of intelligence and character to run smoothly. with out both wheels the same or close to the same the journey will be hard.

Duties and Responsibilities:    Neonatologist specialize in providing care to newborn infants
. Typically provide care to sick, injured newborn infants.
Salary: 196,000 (can grow through out the years)




Education: Must complete medical school and become a doctor of medicine. Bachelor's degree, after medical school must complete a three year residency training program.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?  I do not know yet if I am going to want to be a neonatologist because babies are really fragile and you need to be very careful, but in the other hand it looks like an interesting carrier.

What this quote means is that we all have the courage to start new thing and the courage to stop the bad things we think of doing. I have the courage to continue doing what is good like helping others. I also have the courage to stopping the things I  shouldn't do like bullying. For example, if I see someone struggling going up the stairs instead of making fun of them I have the courage to start helping him/her up the stairs and I also have the courage to stop the teasing. you should always do what is  right an stop what is wrong.

     

Orthodontist

Duties and Responsibilities: Specialized dentist who work to improve patient’s smiles through correcting teeth alignment.  

Salary: 207,010

Education: Bachelor’s degree and you need to graduate from dental school.

Paul Hatch

What Paul Hatch means is that to always say the truth because lies are hard to control. they just keep building up. For example if I was in charge of dry cleaning my friends dress and if I didn't do the job. If she asks me did you do it and I said yes. I just lied. Now it will be harder for me to say the truth. it would've been easier if I haven't lied and just told her. Now I have to tell her I lied and tell her I didn't do the job. which will make her more upset. A lie being told can not only be bad because it creates more lies. It is also bad because it can cause problems between you and another person. A lie leads to many repercussions. The consequence given is based on the lie told. It can be a little lie which leas to a little consequence like detention or being punished. it can also be a big lie out side of school and home which can lead to a big consequence like jail. For me the worst thing a lie can cause me to loose my friendship with my friends.

             

                            

                                                     Christmas/Semester Break


          Over the break we had two special events both New years and  Christmas. On Christmas eve I went to go visit family and spent Christmas with family. We made tamales, postole, ribs, pork, and many desserts. My Christmas gifts were clothes, money, new phone and also a trip to New York. My family in San Diego are party animals, they partied all Christmas eve and all Christmas morning. While we were over there we watched the RAIDERS vs. CHARGERS game. It was a big game to us because my family from over there are true chargers fans and we went for the raiders. When the game was over we made a bet that the team that loses has to do. When that was over a couple days later was New Years Eve. On New Years Eve I came out on my best friends fifteen. I know a fifteen on New Years Eve it sounds crazy but its because she is unique. We partied all night. It was a pretty hectic day but at the end it was perfect. I was glad to spent the New Year with my true friends. My CTR experience was giving money to the homeless and helping elderly people. On this Semester Break I had no homework so I  was stress free.
