What I think this quote means is that success is your choice, no one can make you do it, and no one can stop you from getting success. you have the choice to either accomplish success or fail to pursue success. Success is not an accident, success should be your choice of accomplishing your goal, it is your choice to choose whether you would like to pursue the thought of getting success or decide to don't get t success. For example, I have the choice to be a successful person or have a successful job or even be successful. that is my choice. As well as  a professional soccer player who was doing well, doing successfully at what he/she does playing in the field, and gets an offer to play soccer for a really good professional soccer team he/she has the choice of being successful or not. He/she can either choose success or not. What will happen if he/she gets tempted to do drugs and quits soccer? He/she will loose their chance of success in life.
